Dear Experts,

This is immensely informative and helpful forum. Many thanks for all your support. Request you to please help as appropriate.

My Query:

1. I am employed on old work permit since September 2008 with same employer and have stratightforward case.
2. I am getting eligible for ILR this August.
3. I got married in last April in India and my wife joined me here in December 2012. We had applied for her visa in late November 2012.
4. She has spent around 6 months with me in uk.
5. Does she qualifies for ILR as she is WP dependent and not PBS? Or we will need to apply for FLR(M).

Many thanks.

As a work permit dependent your wife also qualifies for ILR with you. Based on immigration law part 5 rule 196d. i have got ILR this week with my wife under same law, she came here only 5 months ago. thanks

    Hi aarahi mol,

Many congraulations! On getting PR :) thanks this affirmation really helps.

Did you submit your application on your own or through any of the immigration consultant ? Will be great If you can guide me through this - especially booking appointment to PEO seems to be a challenge.

Again many thanks for your support.[/img]
