ILR under Tier 2 and EEA residence card?

I was hoping to apply for ILR this August under Tier 2. I am still working for the same company that originally sponsored me in 2008. In 2011 I applied and received EEA residence card. Does this mean that my Tier 2 is void and I would not be able to apply for ILR.
Have anyone heard about similar situations and what was the result of the application?
