One of my friend got query here is his situation.

Came in 2006 as student

got tier-1 (gen) in jun 2008

Extension - At the time of extension he did last date application by post.

Now due to large payment bank rejected the entry & so as home office.

Then when he received application as rejected straight away he inform bank & put thorough solicitor.

His solicitor explain all situation on letter & send application to HO.

HO approve application.

Question is Does my friend have any negative impact due to rejection of payment. please advise weather my friend have to prepare any letter for his ILR.

ILR due on august please advise asap

Request SAR if you are very worried, costs £10 and gives you info UKBA has on you and then prepare docs accordingly.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/navig ... onal-data/

I don't think this rejection will have any impact as UKBA did grant the extension in the end. Just admin error.

However, if you are going to a PEO having some docs just in case would not hurt you (cover letter, letter from the lawyer explaining what happened with rejection/extension, UKBA rejection and approval letter)
