Hi,
I have read many comments about this topic but did't find a case similar to me. I was out of Uk twice for 14 days (annual leave). Do I need to letter from employer. I had two employments, do I need letter from both?

Or is the time period short & i don't need any letter form employer (payslip covering the holiday period should work)

Detailed Dates
Tier1 Visa Stamp - 24th Sep 08
Entered UK - 13th Nov 08 (ie. entered within 90 days)

Absences
Year 1 - 14 days (Annual leave)
Year 2 - 0
Year 3 - 0
Year 4 - 14 days (Annual Leave)
Year 5 - 0

Thanks
S

No one can give a 'perfect' answer for this question. It is recommended that you get letters from employers regarding absences. But if you can't get any letters, a personal letter explaining the reason would suffice. It is unlikely that the case worker will ask for letters if the absence is within the 180 day threshold nevertheless a letter would be handy in case if he pops that question.

Immigration History Section-6

It says Evidence of all work-related absences ( Including paid annual leave ) is required from those applying under Tier-1(General) .......and so on.
Here I think it indicates to those who spent more than 180 days outside the UK should furnish all leaves including annual and work related , otherwise it doesn't apply who are under 180 days in the 5 months.
But could anyone find the link where it is defined ?? . May be latest policy guidelines or any other changes ?

Many thanks
