Hello All,

I am going for my ILR on 3rd July which is this coming wednesday in Solihull PEO.

I have booked PBS dependant for my wife on same day just 1 hour after my appointment. She has been in UK for 1 year and 9 months.

All my friends who has gone for ILR along their spouse's suggesting me to apply ILR dependant for my spouse as she has been nearly 2yrs in UK.

I am confused now.... As to stick to my original plan and go for PBS Dependant or listen to my friends and apply for ILR dependant along with my application?

Shall I take the risk? What do you say?

And also I have heard that in Solihull they will take payment after the case worker assessed the application. Is it still the same now? Any one recently went to Solihull PEO... your inputs are much appreciated.

You could have perhaps taken the risk if it was within 28 days of 2 years. However, if your PBS dep's visa expires after 2 years of being resident of a spouse then you'll not need to extend. I assume you are applying for ilr as a PBS applicant.

My Spouse didnt got a 2 yrs dependant visa when she applied initially.. it was granted for 1yr 10months.

Yes I am applying my ILR as a PBS applicant under Tier 1 General category.

Then extend and once qualified she can apply on set(o).

Thanks D4109125.

I have booked my ILR appointment at 9AM and my spouse PBS dependant appointment is at 10AM. Would there be any problem? As my spouse application is dependant on my ILR outcome and the process of my ILR will take nearly 2-3hrs minimum.

You could do it on the same day, however, there is a risk that you would not be granted ilr and that the booking fee for pbs dep would be lost.
