Hi All,

Need a but of advise from the experts from this forum. I'm currently planning to apply for ILR on the basis that i have completed 5.5 years from the 1st time i entered UK on Work Permit. During the last 5.5 year, i have renewed my WP into Tier 2 ICT twice within UK. However in the last 5.5 years, i was in India for 20months working for the same company on an offshore project.

Will i be eligble to get the ILR approval on the fact that i have been with the same company & my Visa was continously valid during this 5.5 years.

Please advise as i will need to get this processed asap.

Please respond

For the last five years (from the date of expected application) provide information in this format.

Lets say you are applying in July 13, from July 13 to July 08, provide the info like

Jul 2013 to Jul 2012 (XX Days)
Jul 2012 to Jul 2011 (ZZZ Days)
...

But this looks like more than 180 days in a year, and I have read that they are now very strict about it. So, unless I missed something, this does not look good.

My opinion is that your ILR will fail on the basis of the 3 consecutive years absences and there is no possible way to split it into 180 days per 12 month cycle and in particular your absence for a full year.

Were you paid offshore during this time?
