Hi,
My wife came to UK on 09/Nov/2009 and stayed until December 2010. When she was in UK we applied for extension and got VISA until Dec 2012. We applied again in December for extension and got VISA until November 2015.
Enter date: 09/Nov/2011 Date left UK: 10/Dec/2010(Maternity purpose)
Returned UK on 17/may/2012 and since then she is in UK. She was out of UK continuously for 525 days.
I’m concerned because of this huge absence .
I have got ILR (WP + Tier2) recently and planning to apply for my wife and kid now.
Also, As in SET(O) from she would be main applicant and kid will be dependent what happens when her application gets rejected ? My kid ILR will also get rejected?

Could you please help?
Thanks in advance!

Hi ,
I have searched the forum and have seen mixed success/failure for dependent ILR . Some cases are successful even with 3 years of gap while there are refusals for 10 months also.

Dear Expert if you can please answer below query then i'll decide where to apply for kid separately.

If i apply for my wife as main applicant (Category Others:PBS dependent of ILR holder) and kids as dependents in the same application what will be the outcome if my wife's ILR isn't successful ? Will the reject it for my kid as well being on the same application?
Request experts to help please.

Though there is not a specific limit on absences from UK by PBS dependants, your wife has a considerably long continuous absence of 525 days, she may be able to justify such absences for a good reason if not perhaps consider extending her stay until she has been in the UK for a longer period.
