Missing/ not readable entry dates in passport

Hi any help will be appreciated

I am applying for ilr under 10 years next week.
Going thru my passport I realised the exit/ entry stamp is missing for the country I went to visit. I went to vist my parents on 4-5 times over 3 years. Each time, I was not stamped and one stamp is too faded to read at the destination airport however upon entry into heathrow I was stamped.

Shall I put an approximate date of when I left and write in a covering letter that I forgot the dates as the stamps are missing.

And also will this issue render my ilr application invalid

Thanks

If you have your tickets or confirmation of booking with departure and arrival times for the absences include them as evidence, though the Home Office system should have details of when you entered and left and as many Countries do not stamp passports it should not be an issue either way.

I don't have the flight tickets or confirmation, it was like 9 years ago.
But as you said the HO should have the details.
Shall I put approximate dates maybe add a week or 2 and in a covering letter state that they are rough dates.

Thanks

Yes perhaps ask the people you went to see if they can remember. If not just write a letter explaining your circumstances.
