When should i apply FLR(m) visa for my Wife

Hello ,
I got my ILR on 10yr long residence basis, i will need to apply for my wife's ILR. i was previously in Tier 1 general visa and my wife is in Tier 1 dependent visa. I know that my wife needs to transfer to FLR(m) visa now .I want to know if she can directly apply fro ILR after she receives FLR. I know from the forum that she will fall in old 2 yr rule and will be able to apply to ILR straightaway but i also saw people get refusals . can anybody let me know any PEO accepts this and grant ILR in this case.

Yes by virtue of immigration rule 289(a)(I)(d) some people have been successful just going to a peo with set(m) and avoided having to apply for flr(m) first. You could perhaps have both forms completed and see what the caseworker says.

IS there any requirement to make the FLR(m) application within 28 days of my ILR granted ,because my wife was dependant of my Tier 1 visa but i dont have Tier1 visa anymore so technically she has an invalid visa now?

Search the ilr forum over the last few weeks there has been at least one successful post.

Hi ,
as i got my long residence ILR on 19/07/2013 and my wife is inTier1 depent visa ,do i have to apply for her FLR visa within 28 days ,her visa is until March 2014 though

As long as you apply/switch before the visa expires.
