Hi,

I am on tier 1 general, I am preparing ILR now.. but

I contacted my previous employer and was told that they doesn't keep employee's absence history, so they can't verify my absence date, and refuse to issue such a letter to me.

Would it be a problem or there is any workaround that??

Regards

Ming

Providing you haven't exceeded 180 days in 12 months, just shows the wage slip for the period in question.

thanks

Thanks Amber

Do you mean that absence letter is only required for a period that has exceeded 180 days absences limit?

Am I right that I don't even need to get absence letter from my current employer?

as you can see from link below, I wasn't absence from UK more than 180 days in any one of the 5 years that I am claiming.
