Hi,
This august will be my 6th year anniversary in uk.
i first came in with a student visa nd den worked on a psw visa.
this january 2013 whn my visa expired i appplied fr a enterpreneurship visa which was rejected may 21st.i appealed against it but hv withdrawn my appeal nw.i am going back on1st august and planning to come back on 23rdsep on a student visa which will be applied frm back home.I have received a funded phd opportunity frm UCL thus had to follow this process.as my visa was rejected and i am going back home does that mean interms of 10 yr rule i lose my prev 6yrs and a fresh count will start whn i return on student visa?only time i will be absent frm uk 1/08/2013-20/09/2013 apart from that i dont hv any substantial absent in last 6yrs. please let me kno.will be a great help.thanks

If you withdrew you appeal, then you are an overstayer when you depart. You will unlikely satisfy the Long Residence requirements.
