Dear all
I applied for ilr under 10 years
I sent of my application on the 22 of July, got the acknowledgment letter on the 25 and was invited for the biometric 29 of July I went and did it that same day.

My question is as they have asked to do my bio metrics so quickly does this mean that either they have made a decision of my case, or they r looking into it ie caseworkers working on it os simply just a part of the process.

I read in previous post the biometrics invitation letter takes 2 or 3 months mine was only a few days. ( should i get excited about my case taking less then the customery 6 months)

Thanks

No it does not mean a decision has been made, they need to do biometrics beforehand in order to check your criminal record. Set(lr) applications generally take 6 months+. You might still get a quicker decision, but expect to wait 6 months.
