Entry Stamp on incorrect visa

Hi Friends,
I have a unique issue. I entered UK on WP dependent visa in March 2007, In Oct 2008 I applied for Tier 1 general from india which was stamped on my passport. when i entered UK in Oct 2008 the officer stmped my WP dependent visa instead of Tier 1. Will this impact my ILR application when i file in OCT 2013.

do you mean the enter in to uk stamp?

Hi sorry for not being clear. Its the stamp of entry at heathrow terminal 3.

The stamp doesn't have to be on a specific page. They can stamp anywhere or on any visa. It wouldnt be a problem.

like newbie_2013 said it can be on any visa page. my stamps are all over the passport

The above information is incorrect IMHO. The "Visa" must be activated once on first entry (by stamp on visa). Search this forum and you will find some relevant cases.
ILR success

I applied successfully for ILR this issue was over looked
