Hi Guys,
Soon I will be applying for my ILR on the basis of 10 year long residency - could you guys advise me if I have to disclose the speedawareness course I was offered instead to get 3 points on my driving lincence and £60 pounds fine (this was back in feb 2011) - I know this wont affect on my ILR application but just wanted to know if this is what something to be disclosed in the application.
Thanks

From what I have heard, they do check criminal record so it would be unwise not to declare something that results in one's name going into police criminal record. The question is, did your name go into police criminal record? That depends (usually but not always) on whether you had to go to court or not.

The name remains in police records for 24 months, so you should be fine.
Since this wouldn't affect your application, why not mention it anyways, just to be on the safe side.

This should not be relevant to your application as you were not convicted or even given a FPN.
