2 months shortage for 10 year visa

HI Guys,
Could you all give me your valuable advice regarding my matter. When my current visa expires there will be a 2 months shortage for applying 10 year long visa. I would like to know if still I can apply for this without going for the extension to the current visa(Entrepreneur). Many Thanks

You will need to extend your visa. If it is still being processed when you cross the 10 year application threshold, you can vary your application.

Remember, that if you apply for set(lr) and at the time of the decision, you have satisfied 10 years, that should suffice. Moreover, bare in mind you can apply from 28 days before your 10 years completes.

Many thanks for your quick reply. Can I ask what will be the situation if my extension application for the current visa get refused but at the time of decision, if I have passed the 10 year period? Can I then submit a valid application for ILR?

You can apply to 'vary' your extension application to ILR(LR) application once you cross 10 yr mark if at that time your extension application is still not decided.
In your case, No need to wait for decision on extension application.
