ILR and unemployment

Hi,
I am currently in Tier1-General .I am eligible for ILR this month end,but i an unemployed for last 5 months.But i call still show the earnings required and get enough points.
If i apply now will the application gets rejected due to the fact that i'm currently unemployed?I was working for the last 4+ years apart form the last 5 months.
Or do i need to wait till i have another job and then apply for ILR as my current visa is valid for 1 more year?
Any help is highly appreciated.
