I came to UK in May 2008 and been on dependent visa since then. I have converted to Tier 2 visa in April 2012.

My hubby got PR 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if I am eligible to apply for ILR SET(M)?

Why did you convert to Tier 2? What category of Tier 2 are you?

Remaining as a dependant would have been better for your ILR eligibility.

My husband was on Sole Representative Visa and wanted to switch company. We were not sure if the other employer will get his visa done, so thought of securing one side.

I am on Tier 2 general now. Is there anything I can do to get ILR other than waiting for another 3.5 years?
