Hi,

If someone has been fined for being in the Bus Lane, is that considered a conviction when applying for ILR and/or BC?

Thanks

I dont think so, assuming that you didnt have a court hearing or fine paid through court.

PCN for bus lane violation is issued by local council. It is not regarded as conviction, and does not need to be declared anywhere.

If a recovery order was made by a court due to non-payment of fine, then this order will need to be disclosed as civil judgement on the application form.
