Hi guys,


I received my ILR based on long residence in 12/2013. My wife came to the UK as T1 spouse on 31/01/2012.


I booked PEO for FLR(m) on 10/01/2014. But I became a bit panic because her current visa is spouse leave to enter, is FLR(m) still the right form for her?

If her switch is successful, could she apply for SET(m) because she would have been as spouse of PBS for 2 years on 31/01/2014?

I am not sure if Annex FM will apply to her? I understand Leave to Remain applied before July 2012 will be fine, but she applied for leave to enter. Do we need to meet the £18600 requirement?

My wife switched to FLR(m) at PEO Glasgow last week. She got the approval letter, but haven't received her BRP card yet.

She has already spent two years as T1 dependent. Is it possible for her to make a PEO appointment for SET(m) without the new BRP card. She does have the approval letter. We are planning a trip so are hoping to get her ILR sorted asap.

BRP should only take 10 working days.

You are right. A lot of people receive theirs within a week, but my wife's has taken more than a week now. I read in other threads some brp cards were delivered after a month. We are a bit paronoid and wondering if the card does not arrive within 2 weeks, is it possible to go for set(m) without the brp card.

You should have the BRP when applying for settlement.

My wife still haven't received the brp after two weeks. What should I do? I've emailed BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk but the answer is only standard. Phoned DX but no package.

I am seriously thinking about applying for Set(m) without the brp. Is that reasonal to state brp never received on the form? HO should have the details of the brp in their system.

Received my wife's brp today. Can I include my children on her SET(m)? They have been my T1 dependent for 2 years. I received my ILR based on 10 year.

They were born in the UK. I plan they apply for ILR for now, because my country doesn't allow dual natiionality.

I received my ILR based on long residence. My wife has been my dependent for 2 years and has switched to FLR(M) recently. I understand she is now allowed to apply for ILR with SET(M). I have two children who were both born in the UK. They are my T1 dependents. They are not applying for nationality for now because my country does not accept dual nationality. So I understand after my wife is granted ILR, my children would be able to apply for ILR using SET(F).

My question is:

1. Could my wife include children on her SET(M)? My children have not switched to FLR(M). They are still on T1 dependents.

2. We are based in Scotland and have to travel to London because Glasgow office is under refurbishment. So I am thinking to book two appointments for my wife's SET(M) and my childrent's SET(F) on the same day. If my wife is granted ILR at PEO, could my children apply with SET(F) straight after on the same day? Will the officer reject my children's application because my wife has not received her brp? I remembered some forum members successfully switched to FLR(M) then SET(M) on the same day at PEO.
