Hi All,

Just realised a problem with my long term residency application. I always thought as long as the 10 year stay is legal and continuous, one can apply for the ILR no matter what visas one have had...until today I read from elsewhere and it says the above is true apart from the diplomatic and its dependent visa?

Can anyone please advise? i could not find that info on UKBA's website???

Thank you in advance! :-)

People exempt from immigration control include diplomats and members of the armed
forces.
