Help need!! 90 days concession period ILR

Hi

Can someone please help me in understanding the 90 days concession period?

I am planning to apply for ILR this year. I got entry clearance visa outside UK.

Initial entry clearance visa 08 June 2009
Arrived in UK on 01 August 2009 within 90 days

Applied for renewal in 2011

Visa extended till 08 June 2014. I am outside UK only for 70 days in total since I have arrived in UK.

I have arrived in UK 56 days later when I initially got visa on 08 June 2009. Does this 56 days count towards 5 year qualifying period? When shall I book for appointment? On the form set O, do I need to put 01 August 2009 or 08 June 2009 in section 6.1 "When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based".

Also, if it counts towards qualifying period do I need to show it as absence in the form set O section 6.2.

Thanks.

From 28 days before 08 June 2014. The date you entered is August, the period is not an absence.

Thanks.

I am slightly confused although I had the visa from 08 June 2009 to 08 June 2014 which is for five years but at the time of application for ILR I would only be inside UK 4 years and 9 months as I arrived late in UK after 56 days from when I initially granted entry clearance visa on 08 June 2009.
