ILR with combination visa

Hi

I came to the UK on a work permit on Jan 2 2010 (I was here earlier, on short to medium duration stays, and the period for the work permit was 20 Aug 08 - 20 Aug 10). Then in Aug 10 I moved to a Tier 2 ICT (Period granted 19 Aug 10 - 30 Aug 13). However, seven months after, I moved to the Tier 1 General category (Period granted 16 Mar 11 - 16 Mar 13) and received a 3 yr extension to T1 General in Mar 2013 (8 Mar 13 - 8 Mar 16).

1) Is the Work Permit considered for the ILR?
2) Will the Tier 2 ICT be considered for ILR?
3) Am I going to be eligible for my ILR in Jan 2015 (starting Jan 10)?
4) If not, when will I be eligible for ILR, given the above scenario?

Thanks.

See also Settlement, 245CD and Chapter 6A.

It depends on the basis your Tier 2 (ICT).

Hi, the basis was long term employment. I had been in London on short/medium trips in 2008 and 09 and was offered a permanent position in London (transferring from Mumbai) starting Jan 2010 by my employer. On those grounds, how would it work?

If your Tier 2 (ICT) was a continuation of your original work permit that started on Jan 2010, then I think you may be okay to apply for ILR in 2015.
