Hi,
I am in India and hold a Tier 1 dependant Visa (applied before July 2012).
My husband has an ILR. Can i apply for ILR from India as my visa will expire in Sept 2014 and am eligible for ILR from Mar2014.

No, you cannot apply for ILR from outside the UK. Best would be to return to the UK before your visa expires then either extend your current visa or if you qualify, apply for ILR.

Thanks for your reply.
I am eligible for PR after March 2014. My husband already holds a PR.
I would like to take my kid along with me when i go to UK for visa extension.
Can I apply PR for my child from India using my husbands visa as my visa expires in Sept.
Can i apply PR or should i apply dependent visa for my child?

1.
VAF 4A and
Appendix one.
2. So long as you can satisfy
adequate accommodation and maintenance.
I am not sure if the child can apply for Tier 1 Dependent, maybe a moderator could advise, but the child can apply for the above as your partner is settled.

I agree with CR001. I would go with the 'child of settled parents'.
