Co-habilitation documents, how long?

Dear all,
I will apply for the ILR at Croydon on Monday hopefully with my partner. I am on a tier 2 general and he is my dependent. He came to the UK on October 2010, therefore, more than 2 years ago.
My question is does he have to show co-habilitation documents since 2010, or the last 2 years from now?! At the moments we have documents from the whole period, but I was not sure whether I should keep it to the last 2 years?!
