Hi

I am applying for ILR in May 2014. I got Tier 1 outside UK in June 08, 2009 which as renewed till June 08, 2014.

I have total of 150 days spent outside UK in last 5 years and out of those 50 days were unpaid holidays where I was not in any employment was from Aug 11, 2012 to September 30, 2012. I left my permanent employment at August 10, 2012 before leaving for this trip. Does it affect my application and do I need to provide any evidence for this unpaid holidays? When I came back I incorporated a LTD company to provide consulting services. I had some time off outside UK while working as director of the LTD company what evidence do I need to provide.

20 days permanent employment (annual leave mandatory time off)
50 days unpaid
80 days being a director of the LTD company during this period a was getting salary from the company

Thanks.

Regards

Imran

I don't think it will affect in any way at all.

During my 5 years working career I had one downtime where I was unemployed for 2.5months did bit of travelling for about 2 months outside UK. It didn't affect me at all either on Tier 1 extension or my ILR but I did score enough points for earnings.

I only mentioned outside UK 60 days in application form and I didn't provide any explanation or reason.

Thanks.

Do I need to arrange any evidence for the unpaid leave? What shall I write as reason in the form for unpaid leave?

For 150 days leave in 5 years you don't have to bother much . You can mention holiday/family visist as appropriate for all your abscences.

Thanks. On the form; it says all absences should be backed a letter from employer or for compassionate reasons?

sorry to put this question again; will they refuse my application. I quite worried actually.
