Cleared CRB Vs Conviction

Hi

Recently my employer has done enhanced CRB for myself. And it came clear (even though it took more than 45 days, normally it comes 2-3 weeks). I came to know afterwards that it took that long because it was enhanced including for children as well. Anyway back to the main issue I had court summons back in Feb 2009 (following police stopped me and found i have international driving license and so according to them after year cant drive on that so my insurance became invalid). Anyhow I received summons from court asking pleaded guilty or attend court, I pleaded guilty by post, I was given 6 points and about £240 fine. I paid fine and recently got removed points after 4 years anniversary in Sep 2013.

On ILR application should I put something about it or ignore it?Enhanced CRB came clear nothing on CRB at all, should i consider it CONVICTION or not ?
I know there was some discussion going on in the past about similar type of issue, but I am wondering how come for some it appears on CRB and for some it doesn't appear on CRB?

Regards

It's an Enhanced DBS not CRB. As more than 24 months have lapsed it will not pose an issue. Declare the conviction.

Thanks.

1 - What is the difference B/W DBS and CRB?

2- How to do CRB( if the one done by emploer is not CRB)

3- In fact i have seen driving conviction or this type of driving conviction on employer requested CRBs thats why wondering what makes a same conviction to appear on employer requested CRB than the other one which doesnt appear on employer requested CRB? Same offence and conviction how come one appear at ones CRB and others not?

Also I will declare it , question here though is same conviction appeard on CRB /DBS and for others it doesnt.???

regards

The CRB was the old name for the department that issued CRB certificates. The DBS is now the new department - disclosure and barring service.

Certain non-custodial conviction data (convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings) are filtered from DBS certificates after a certain period has lapsed. Though, this information may still be disclosed at the discretion of the Chief Police Officer.
