Hi Guys,

I just moved to the UK on Tier 2 visa. My goal is to move to the UK permanently.

If I understood ukba website correctly, in order to have ILR in the following 5 years I can leave UK for max 450 days, where in the last year it should not be more than 100 (to quote: If you have been absent from the UK for up to 100 days in total during the final year, we normally disregard the absence.)

I have a wife, she is still in India, and she will move here in 2years. I agreed with my employer that I can work 10 days per month from India (and of course be payed during that period). I'm planing to use this flexibility until my wife is aboard.

This means that first two years I will have 12X10 + 12X10 = 240 days of absence, and after that much less than remaining 210 days (450-240).

Is this going to be a problem or not? or better to say is it 90 days maximum a year or I simply should not exceed 360 days in first 4 years?

thanks in advance!
