Queries for Tier 1 dependent to ILR

Post by bhm123 » Tue Feb 04, 2014 12:05 pm

Hello,
I got ILR in November 2013.
I got married in November 2011 and my wife joined me immediately.
However she was on her own Tier 1 visa. She got her tier 1 dependent visa in April 2012
She completes 2 years in cohabitation and on tier 1 dependent visa in April 2014.

So the questions are
1. When can she apply for ILR? 28 days before the qualifying period? So sometime in March 2014?
2. Which form she needs to use? SET(O)?
3. Does she need to satisfy points criteria? So does she have to generate PBS calculator sheet from UKBA website?
4. She has a degree taught in English. In my case I had to score the points so I said my degree appears on the points based calculator so I don’t need UK NARIC certificate. However in case of dependent I think points scoring calculator sheet is not required, correct me if I am wrong? So how to prove English language requirement?

Many thanks in advance.

best regards...

Hello,

Considering i (main applicant) have already provided all earning evidences plus satisfied the points during ILR application, is it required during the dependent (wife's) ILR application as well?

I mean 12 months salary slips, P60s, employment letters etc or only cohabitation documents are required?
Many thanks.

best regards.

Hello,
Thanks a lot for the answers...

Dependents' visa was granted on 5th April 2012 in New Delhi, India, received on 9th April and traveled back to UK on 11th April 2012.
So when does qualifying period finish? 5th April 2014 or 11th April 2014.

I understand application can be made 28 days before the qualifying period, so i am not sure if it can be made after 8th March 2014 or 15th March 2014?

Please advice...Many thanks.

Best regards...
