You can apply for ILR no sooner than 28 days before you reach the 5 year residence requirements. So any time within 28 days before 4 July 2014, 5 years after your entry to the UK

Since I will have a window of around 2 weeks to apply ILR, my manager has advised me to apply for Tier2 ICT extension.
If i get a Tier 2 extension , is there any restriction to apply the ILR .

There is no restriction to apply once you qualify after 5 years residence and because you can apply 28 days before 4 July 2014, I don't see why you want to extend instead of applying for ILR.

Thanks for Reply .
If I apply ILR for myself , someone informed me that I can get free UK visa for my spouse and kids for 5 years . Is this correct ?
May be I apply ILR for myself and save some money for now .

Oh GOD who told you this .if you get ILR or extension in both cases you have to pay ££££ for your family to get VISA .ILR will benefit little if your kids are born in uk then their fee will be less as they are entitle to citizenship. But something is free in uk and that thing is visa it's the biggest joke of century

Thanks for the info . for applying for SET 0 form folwing document is reqd for Work permit holder ( is it same for Tier 2 ICT) .
Won't the payslip suffice or we need to get this from my company ? I got my tier 2 ICT extension in april 1. Can i use the same certificate of sponsorship that was used for the Tier 2 ICT extension ?
A document from the employer named in your current work permit containing the following information:
- confirmation that you are still required for the employment in question, and
- the nearest applicable Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code which best describes
your employment
- Your current rate of pay (this should be given in the same format as given in the codes of practice,
for example hourly rate or yearly salary), and
- confirmation that this is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the codes of
practice for Tier 2 sponsors. (See note 9 on this form).

You can apply for ILR on 5th June 2014 and onwards. 28 days before your 5 years anniversary. ( you have to count from stamping date and not the date you entered uk as you qualify under 90 concession rule because you entered within 3 months after EC)
