Hi..

My husband has had tier2 visa (and work permit) for 5 years and I stayed with him with dependent visa in the UK. At this time, my husband can apply for ILR, but he has some restriction in his company, so he can not apply.

So, I would like to apply for ILR alone, however I do not know whether it is possible or not.

Is it possible? Please clarify it for me.

Thanks in advance.

No, as a dependant of any category, you cannot apply for any extension or ILR without main applicant.

What are the restrictions which are hampering your husband not to apply for ILR same time as you???

You alone have no jurisdiction on any category and your visa will be void after it's expiry date.

Hope it helps!

A way out is for you the dependant to look for a tier 2 sponsor and do out of country EC application. Then your husband and also apply for EC out of country as a dependant without being subject to cooling off period.
Hopefully after 5 years on tier 2 you can apply for ilr without restrictions.
