Tier 1 SET O form previous earning question

Hi everyone
Will be really appreciated to get answers for the pay period on the SET O form.
Section 9
Question A4: the start and end dates of the periods for which you are claiming the previous earning:
Shall I put the
A: first of the calendar month in for example: 01/04/2013 -- 01/03/2014.
Or
B: the date I got paid on my payslips, which are: 05/04/2013 -- 14/03/2014
My concern is if I put B, The date on payslips, it is more than 12 consecutive months,
Any answer is welcome!

Its the earning period they would like to know, not when you are paid. In your case, I would put 01/04/2013 to 31/03/2014. This period comprises of 12 consecutive months.

But my appointment is on the 27/03, can I already claim the earning period till 31/03/2014 ? I mean, the month still have not finished, can is already claim the period?

Or the question is: for those who apply in March 2014, which period (from which month to which )is the consecutive 12 months?
