Hello All,

This is for TIER 2 holders:

I just happened to check the UKBA website and found that the minimum salary requirement has been raised by atleast 1000£. After a long persistent push, my boss had increased my experienced salary to 26050£ only 2 weeks before. Now UKBA wants it to be 27000£ starting 4th April. And I was supposedly gonna apply for ILR in JUNE 2014.

Does anyone in this forum has applied for ILR with salary less than the experienced rate? If so, could you please share the details.

My SOC code falls under PhD level (SOC 2113)

Here are the links for the new salary rates changes:-

Thanks
Shree

Your bad luck continues.
This salary is based on 37 hours (source:Migration Advisory Committee).
Contact a solicitor and check if you can show less number of hours (Supported by employer letter) per week to meet requisite salary . It isn't appropriate though.
In my opinion you go with a good solicitor.

i think it should be 40 hours.... it looks like 37 hours is only for electrical engineers (national grid submission to MAC). Please double check though.
