ILR FOR DEPENDANT

Hello everyone one of my friend got ILR(base 5 years HSMP VISA)on nov-2012 and his wife is in uk since April 2011 now she wants to apply for ILR so epwhen can she apply?. Can she apply this April 2014 or she needs to finish 5 years in the uk??? Plz advised as he is really confused thx

Dependants of ILR (economic, 5 year route) applicants. Provided that your friend was not granted ILR under
Long residence, I think that his wife may apply for ILR, before her leave expires, assuming that she has continuous leave as his dependant prior to 9th July 2012.
