Hi Forum,

I really pleased with this forum and is really a great tool for individuals who want to know information on immigration matters.

I would like to apply ILR to my wife as she arrived into the UK on 30th July 12.

One of my main questions is, has she need to spend full 24 months before apply or 28 days before completion of qualifying period she can apply?

I will also appreciate if any one confirm what sort of documentation needs to be supplied for ID, address proofs?as she is not working she do not have any documentation other than council tax bill, tenancy agreement, NHS card, Learning UK driving licence.

I look forward to see some one guidance on above?

Thanks
VRs

She granted leave as Tier II dependant, due to in sufficient number of days for ILR qualification period, she has not applied ILR.

Did you qualify for ILR as a long residence or PBS applicant?

Ok, then if she was granted PBS dep leave before July 2012, she may continue with such PBS dep leave (including extending) until such time as she has qualified 2 years, you could argue and from 28 days before that point. Cohabitation proof would be a joint letter or a letter each for every 4 months since you were last granted leave, to a max. of 2 years.
