Hi,
My husband just received ILR on basis of 10 Years Long Residency. Prior to that he held Student Visa. I came as his dependant in 2007 and travelled abroad in 2009 and 2011. According to me I'm suppose to apply as ILR dependant with FLR(M) application form. The thing that worries me is the financial evidence that we need to show. Do I come under showing £18,600? In the FLR(M) guidance notes it is stated in point 21(d):
You must meet the financial requirement
You need to meet the financial requirement if you made your first application to enter or remain here as a partner after 9th July 2012.
According to this point; my first application to enter or remain here was made in March 2007 so am I exempted from showing the financial requirement?
Q1. Please advise the appropriate application form if I'm wrong.
Q2. Advise about the financial requirement?

Considering you have left it too long since your previous post -
10 Years Long Residence Inquiry (click), you are now subject to the Financial Requirement as the rules changed on 6 April 2014.

Even in the case of showing £18,600 how are we suppose to show that? I already mentioned my husband doesn't get and wage slips it's a cash in hand job that he does. Can we show this amount in terms of Saving? if yes then how long 3 months or 6 months?

Savings would have to be £62500 held for 6 months, do you have that much? Do you work and does your husband pay tax?

Could you please explain why I need to show £18,600 if Im here in UK since March 2007.
Second, if we have to show £18,600 for 6 months then can we just get them in the current account under my husbands name for 6 months and share the bank statements. Would that do?

Because the rules changed on 6 April 2014 I'm afraid.
So he's self-employed, does he pay tax?

So at first instance he's also committing an offence - tax evasion.
He's going to end up leaving you as an overstayer. Do you have children?

Because if someone is self-employed they need to complete a self assessment by law.
