P60 for 2013-14

Hi All,
I am applying for ILR in mid of May-14. I haven't received the P60 for 2013-14. As per P60 guidelines, employer needs to send it by 31-May-14. So I reached to hmrc whether they could give me employment history. I called them, and they informed me that since employer hasn't taken the details for P60, so they can't issue the "employment history" either. So, i don't have P60 or employment history for the current financial year. Worst case, if i don't receive by 12-May, would there be an alternate option? or I should reschedule my appointment?
