Wife Surname Change with ILR Application

Hi Guys,
I am planning to change my wife's surname on passport this Month( May 2014); want to use my surname as new. We need to apply for ILR in July. If I will apply for ILR with my wife's new name, would that cause any problem?
Please answer the query. I will really appreciate it.
If somebody had similar experience, please suggest me how to proceed in this scenario.
