ILR dependent Continuous stay rule?

Hello,

I am on Tier 1 General Visa since 2010 and my wife on Dependent. We both will qualify for ILR in 2015.
My wife plans to go to India from August 2014 till March 2015 (more than 180 days).

I understand the 180 days continuous rule within last 12 months applies for main applicant. But what will be the scenario for my Wife?

In short, my question is:
I am applying for my ILR next year and my wife will go to India for 7 months and will be joining with me at the time of application. Will she be eligible for ILR ? Does the 180 days continuous stay rule apply to her as well??

Please help. Thanks.

Absences should be limited and for good reason.

Thanks Amber, I understand that it should be limited. But she will be travelling due to pregnancy.
She has a continuous dependant VISA for 5 years along with me.
Is their a rule/ condition for how long can dependents be out in the 2 years continuous period?

Thanks.

Most PBS deps don't have problems settling after leaving the UK for a short period due to maternity.

Thanks Amber. Hopefully it should be ok. Fingers crossed.
Just another query,
If for any reason my wife aplies for ILR later than me, what form would she be filling and then is there a question where she has to explain her visits/trips outside UK? or is that only for the main applicant.
