Hi... Im new to this forum. Have just moved from Dubai in April. My eldest daughter is British and studying here, lives with my ex husband and his wife. We share custody of her and on that basis I got a visa to live and work here in UK. I am working already.

I was previously in the UK, prior to my divorce in 2008, lived here for 4 years, on Limited leave to remain visa. I was working at that time as well.

I would like to know the fastest way to get ILR... can I add my previous years?

Thank you!

What is your current status, what type of leave were you granted?

Hi Amber

My visa is a multiple entry visa Right of access to a child valid until 12/12/2016.

Thats all it says... I have permission top live and work here but no recourse to public funds.

When was it granted? Were you granted leave for 12 months initially?

This visa was issued now in March 2014 for 30 months. This is when I reentered UK. But I was married and lived in 2004 to 2008 in UK as a dependent on Limited leave to remain. I left UK after my divorce in 2008.

I want to know if I can apply for ILR in March 2015.

Thanks :)

You were granted leave to enter outside the UK under appendix FM, I believe it's a 10 year route to settlement (or at least 5) unlike pre July 2012, when those granted access rights under Part 7 could settle after 12 months.
