Hello colleagues,

My wife have UK citizenship and I have an ILR. Till the last year I had no problems to travel without visas within EU area or getting visas for free. Yesterday I found that in frames of new rules I need to apply for visa in any case. But owners of PR or EEA cards still able to travel without any restrictions.

My question: is it possible to change ILS sticker for PR or EEA card? if so, what the procedure and how much it could be? Cant fingd anything relevant on home-office website.

Thanks!

ILR : under UK immigration route

PR: In the UK All EEA ( except UK ) or Swiss nationals and their family members :
in France All EEA ( except French ) or Swiss nationals and their family members

Wait till you get BC then you can travel too. You can't change sticker.

You won't find information anywhere because there is no such thing switching from ILR to PR
