Absences from UK (tier-2 to ILR)

Hi all,
Sorry to make a new post if my issue has been posted somewhere. A year ago, I remember the condition of Absences is that not exceeded 180 days in 5 continuous years and 90 days in one go. However, it has seemed to change recently to 180 days in any 12 calender month and get rid of 90 days condition.
So actually we can go out of this country for 200-400 days in total 5 years if it doesn't exceed 180 days in 12 months. Please confirm it is correct?
Thank you very much.
