PSW dep time count towards qualification for Set M?

Hi every one,
im bit confused as i was advised before that the time spent on PSW dep does not count towards the qualification for applying set M as PSW category is not a settlement route,
but recently i found out answer by UKBA on similar query on "what they know "

now im more confused as what to believe (there answer is about 2 years old
,
i would request all seniors/gurus or member who experienced similar situation before to plz come forward and share your views on this.
my dep scenario:-
came in uk 2009 tier 4 dep
2011 to 2013 psw dep
i received ILR on LR in March2014
my dep. FLR M approved in march(valid for 2 years)
i really really hope to get some feed back from you guys , even if ur answer is "NO" , it will be at least less pain full to hear something than getting ignored and.... waiting....
