My appointment is at 8:40 am; how and I reached there by 8:30. Since it was Saturday I was one of few that day. We have been directly sent to the reception and sent to the case worker in 5-10 minutes at about 8.45.
The case worker inputted some data into the system and after 10-15 minutes my wife was sent for Biometrics and photographs. At 9.05 or 9.10 we were sent to Cafeteria to wait for the decision.
We waited in the cafeteria until our number is called. At around 9.25 our number was called and a lady who is returning my documents told that your application is approved and we will send you biometric card in 7 days.
We left the building at around 9.30 am so overall 45-50 minutes in total.
One advice to everyone that even if it’s a stressful situation for many please just provide the documents as asked in the guidance and arrange them as per the heading above or as in the guidance so it’s easier for the case worker to go through it. Don’t attach too many documents as this will take more time for him/her to go through it (having said that I think I submitted few additional documents which may not be required e.g. poll card and driving licences).
If all the documents are in order and case is genuine I don’t see any problem in ILR except that the case worked has not on the wrong side of the bed the night before! So take all the documents with you just in case!
All the best to everyone for one’s applications. I think the premium service was expensive but worth it as we don’t have to wait and wait without knowing when the decisions will be made.
