The only benefit I see in this is that they can verify original documents and you may not send originals to UKBA.
I don't trust them with my originals anyways.

Hi
Is this service available for Set O applicants also? If it is so, please let me know the details. I find this useful as we can able to retain original passports with us.
Thanks

If you want it faster then its better you apply in the peo as it will be done on the same way and all your documents will be with you within 1 day along with originals.

Hi CR001.
Is NCS not available for any other applications at all?
I recently booked and paid for my son's MN1 application, I clearly told him it is an MN1 application for my son. Should I just cancel it?
I could be just wasting my time and money going there, because they could just end up saying "Oh sorry we booked you in error as we don't do MN1". I know people working there are not the most competent...
Thanks

This thread is not about citizenship applications, it is about ILR for spouse of BC on Set(M).
Settlement Checking Service is slightly different to NCS (
Nationality Checking Service).
So yes, you can use NCS for MN1.
