ILR Success @ Croydon 10-06-14

Hi Guys,

My application with 1 dependent has been successful today so Just wanted to say big thanks to all the members.

Overall very pleasant experience @Croydon office.

Appointment : 9:20 AM reached 9:50 AM ( bit late but no issues)

09:50 AM Step1 - Security check
10:00 AM Step2 - Token received
10:10 AM Step3 - Case Registration
10:30 AM Step4 - Biometric Registration + Documents submitted ( lady said process will take upto 1 hour so be back in time if you are going out but we stayed in Cafe Area)
11:20 AM Step5 - Documents returned with Successful letters

Documents submitted:
PEO Appointment E-Mail & Payment Sheet
• Set (O) form (June/14 Version)
• 2x Recent photographs with full name written on the back of each (4 total)
• Main Applicant PBS Self-Assessment Summary
• Cover Letter
• Main Applicant Employer letter
• Main Applicant 12 Months Payslips
• Main Applicant 12 Months Corresponding Bank Statements
• Main Applicant last 5 years P60’s
• Main Applicant Evidence of English Language (UK Master’s Degree)
• Main Applicant Evidence of Life in UK test
• Dependant Evidence of English Language (ESOL Level B1 Certificate)
• Dependent Evidence of Life in the UK test
• Main Applicant Absence Letter
• Marriage Certificate

hi congrats!
i had appointment today at croydon too but my appointment was at 12'@10, got there at 11@30,
i used SET M it was granted, it was very nice experience

Could you tell me what written on the letter they give you
My letter
First.
Name , family name , country of birth then date of birth
It should be date of birth then country of birth!!!!!

Then on the second page writing on bold
This note are for information purposes only and do not convey the grant of IlR!
Then under it say your application for indefinitely leave to remain in the United Kingdom has been approved
Is it the same as yours?
Please update me when you receive your biometric card as we applied on the same day we should receive them the same day

Received my BRP cards today:) within 2 days wow great service Home office

many congrats Shumailakamran.

I am applying for ILR on 24th June, currently onTier1 General. Can you please help me by pointing, what did you fill in section 11B. Its says work permit and i think i don't need to tick any option but just want to make sure from someone who has already filled latest SET(O) form.

I received my biometric card today too !! Ilr granted the 10 June biometric card received the 12 June very quick! Great service am glad I used the premium service

@Jay1234: you dont need to tick that option. you just need to tick 11L as you are on Tier-1 General.

@Shumailakamran, that what i thought about 11L but as its written in the form and i quote
"11L Tier 1 (General) migrant If you are applying for indefinite leave to remain on completing five years’ continuous stay in the UK made up of leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant and leave as a highly skilled migrant, work permit holder, innovator, self-employed lawyer or writer, composer or artist, in addition to the relevant documents in 11A, you must provide the following documents:"

'and' above confuses me as i have always been on Tier1 General, so does this option apply on me. On other hand, should i tick option under 11L "For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules."?

if yes, what proof did you add to show that yo met relevent requirements?

I hate Homeoffice for changing same form again and again with no support at all. :evil:

Just tick both option under 11L and submit following docs:

Payslips x 12
Bank Statement x12
Employer Letter x 1

Sorry to bother you again, by employer letter, you mean letter from current employer that i currently work here?

HI Shumailakamran,

My case is similar to yours, me and my partner will be applying soon for ILR,
my problem is cohabitation.
since we live in a flat where all bills are paid for including gas/electricity/water/council tax.
so all we got in joint name are bank statement/marriage certificate/provisional driving licence-same address/tenancy agreement from landlord/letter from church apart from that we got birth certificate of our son recently born in UK only but the problem is can we include this bcoz we don't want to apply for my son yet as we will apply for his BC after we get ILR, so will it be a problem with case worker if we produce his birth certificate if we don't apply for his ILR, we also got letters from health visitor and from NHS appointments during pregnancy but it has got my sons name in it, so again any problem we will come cross I am not sure.

please let me know

no.. dont worry about that as I included my daughter birth certificate as well even i didnt apply for my daughter.. so no issues with if you include your child or not.... my daughter was with me when i was submitting my case...so no need to worry just submit anything you have for last 2 years. thats what i submitted
