Unable to find original document - query

Hi All,

I am putting all documents together for my wife's ILR application which is due next week and a prompt response would be appreciated.

I am unable to find original 'Absolute Decree' (Divorce) from my previous marriage. However managed to find a photocopy of it certified by my solicitor.

1. Would there be an issue if i send the certified photocopy rather than original as it specifies in the form that it should be original?
2. Would it still be acceptable even certified in September 2011?

Thank you for your support.

Zubair

You can always obtain another decree absolute from the courts again. More info here:
