Employer letter and absence letter

Hi, my employer gave me the following letter confirming my employment and holidays. Can someone let me know if the format and contents are right, or are any addition required.

CONFIRMATION OF EMPLOYMENT FOR MR. xxxxx

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to state that xxxx is presently employed with xxxxxxx since October 2007 (on Tier 2 general from November 2009) and presently holds the position of xxxx.
His current salary is GBP xxxx which is above the appropriate rate of GBP xxxxx as per SOC code xxxxx, as stated in the codes of practice for Tier 2 Sponsors.
xxxxxx services as an employee are still required and he will continue to remain employed with XXXXX in the foreseeable future.

The following are dates detailing his absence from the UK, from XXXX and also specifying reasons of absence. Please note that he was paid full time salary during these holidays.
