A. VISA issued by UKBA --> 1-Dec-09
B. Entered UK --> 6-Dec-09

Applying VISA on 6-Nov-14 [ within 28 Days before the Visa was issued]---> Is this assumption correct ?

Year-----------Days of the year-----Abesent Days
Year-1---->6-Nov-14 to 7-Nov-13<---->14
Year-2---->6-Nov-13 to 7-Nov-12<---->0
Year-3---->6-Nov-12 to 7-Nov-11<---->13
Year-4---->6-Nov-11 to 7-Nov-10<---->118
Year-5---->6-Nov-10 to 7-Nov-09<---->201 Option-1
Year-5---->6-Nov-10 to 6-Dec-09<---->172 Option-2
Year-5---->6-Nov-10 to 1-Dec-09<---->177 Option-3

So If I count Year-5 back from 6-Nov-10 i.e. till 7-Nov-09 then total absent is 201 days :( ,
and if I calculate absent till 6-Dec-09 (Day I first entered UK) then total absent is 172 days :D ,
and if I calculate absent till 1-Dec-09 (Day when Visa was stamped) then total absent is 177 days :D .

Could someone please confirm which date should be calculated for Year-5?

You'll have to make it so that for every 12 months your absences are 180 days or less.

Thanks Amber for your reply. Does that mean that option 2 and 3 will not work?
