I just wanted to get some clarification below.

ILR has 10 years validity on the bio metric card. If anyone who does not want to apply British passport after a year.
When ILR gets expiry from its validity (i.e 22-05-2024).Should we need to show them our employment history (like payslips & bank statements) and other details as well during the renewal?.

Amber, Casa, Vinny and Obie could clarify for this.

You would get another ID card after the expiry of existing if u r still residing btw Ten year seems a long time. No one knows what the immigration rules would be like in 2024.
U r better off getting a British Passport to be on safe side if u want to live in this country. :D

Your ILR BRP is renewable like a drivers license/passport etc is every 10 years because people's look change etc. ILR is indefinite, provided you don't leave the UK for more than 2 years.

Thanks riz1986 & CR001 for your reply.

When we go for driving license/passport renewal, we won't provide the additional documents (employment related stuff) in general. But, when go for ILR BRP renewal, do we need to submit any documents which we provided already?.
