FLR to ILR

Post by aditi.singh » Mon Sep 29, 2014 1:22 pm

Hi,

I currently have FLR(M) which is expiring soon.

My husband had Tier 1, he subsequently got ILR and British citizenship in 2013.
I changed from being Tier 1 dependent to FLR(M) when he got his ILR.

I'll be using SET(M) for my ILR. Just want to confirm if that this is the right one use?

Can someone with experience please confirm this?

Thanks
Aditi

How did your partner secure his ILR, was it on the basis of long Residence or under the point based system?

When did you apply for Further leave to remain as the spouse of a Settled Person?

How long had you been with your husband as a dependent before the switch?

1) He was on Tier 1 (PBS), then took ILR (SET(O)), then his naturalization.
2) I applied for FLR(M) just before July 2012.
3) More than 2 year on FLR(M) with my husband. Earlier was Tier1 dependent for 18 months.

Thx

Then you should be able to qualify for ILR yourself.
